Fun I have added
information from Taylor's Early
Families of Raymond, Maine, Spurr's A History of Otisfield,
Maine, and Kluge's The
History of Casco,
Maine,
along with census, cemetery, military, and vital records, many
of which are online. I
have also provided links to other online sources, most of them
databases found at the WorldConnect
Project, part of RootsWeb. None of these should be considered
a primary source. There are two
ways to find information at this website; You can SEARCH
using the search page listed in the menu at the left. Or you can BROWSE
by clicking on any of the other links. Are we related?
Any long-lost cousins are encouraged to sign the Guestbook.
If you're one of the dozens of relatives who signed the Guestbook prior
to October 2005, I regret that your message has been lost. My old
Guestbook became corrupted and none of the messages could be retrieved.
Please feel free to sign it again. ********** A note about e-mail:
I deleted the e-mail account 2/17/17. I am working on removing the email link entirely but it may still exist
on many pages. It is no longer a valid e-mail address. You can
contact me thru the Guestbook, which I have set up to receive both private and public messages.
The sections
Introductory Material and Family Records are
taken directly from the Edwards genealogy. The data
contained in the individual family records were first put into a
database, then converted to html tables. The differences in this
section are (1) I changed the state abbreviations to the contemporary
2-character code, (2) I changed the dates to mm/dd/yyyy format, and (3)
I have omitted the line of descent that was included in every
individual record. You can determine the line by clicking
on the individual's name which will lead you back to his/her parents. Within the Family Records, the section headed "Comments"
contains comments made by the author; the section headed "Other Info"
contains information not found in the book and includes the source of
the information. These documents have not been proofread Other contains
information compiled from the book and from other sources: Family
Fun - a collection of stuff probably of interest only to my
immediate family...
