Inf., being enrolled July 17, 1863; and was discharged at Augusta, Me., Sept. 18, 1865. Bennett Morse enlisted in battery E, 1st. Me. Regt., Light Vol. Artillery, enrolled Sept. 25, 1861; was discharged Jan. 4, 1864, when he re-enlisted as a veteran volunteer.
