Watertown MA; Boston MA There were no children. Henderson Josiah Edwards graduated from Harvard University, July, 1863, and immediately enlisted in the U. S. Army, being mustered into service Dec. 3, 1863. He became 2nd. Lieut. of 3rd. Infantry Corps D'Afrique; 1st. Lieut. of 75th. U. S. Infantry, colored; Capt. of 75th. U. S. Infantry, colored; and was honorably discharged May 31, 1864. On his return from service he located in Watertown, Mass., where he was Trial Justice for ten years, and Chairman of the School Committee for nine years. He was Representative in Massachusetts Legislature, 1873-74. Elizabeth Eaton Henley was the sister of Adaline Henley. Other Info:
