Silas Blake Edwards enlisted in the Civil War, Sept. 10, 1862; was mustered in Sept. 29, 1862, Co. C, 25th. Me. Regt., Inf.; and was mustered out July 11, 1863. He was at one time a Deputy Sheriff.
Ernest Charles Edwards graduated from bowdoin College in 1898. He was at one time connected with International Correspondence Schools, Scranton, Pa.
