My dear wife i got your kind letter to day and was glad to hear from you and hear that you was well my health is not so god as it was the first of the winter but still it is verry good

??? will Morgan seems to think that i can get work if i come back to Maine you may look for me in about 4 weeks that is if nothing happens and tell will morgan to have a good job when i get thare so that i can go right to work

 

i suppose that you would be willing to pay my board untill i can get work for i wont have much money by the time that i get to Lewiston and no clothes either i will be confounded poor wont i yes poorer than than a dried fart

to day is friday and and so i shant write but a few lines sunday i will write all the news

so be a good girl give my love to all of my friends but keep the most for your self good by H. Edwards
