Joanna [Bradman] Edwards collected a pension for Nathaniel's service in the War of 1812. He served as a private in Capt John Kinborn's Co, Mass Militia 9/13/1814-9/24/1814; pension record gives their marriage as 1/2/1822 Minot ME and his death as 9/7/1843 Gardiner ME
